John Lennon did the song Imagine which was a theme song of the sexual Revolution that you can imagine anything you want.
Hugh Hefner built on that Revolution with the sexual lusts of the flesh of Playboy magazine, that open the gate for all the other pornography and sexual issues in our culture.
Since there is only male and female this whole construct of transgenderism is an imaginary reality, like all of secularism.
John MacArthur's explains it to his young friend very well in this video.
This is a great audio about how God has supplied our need for cars, through answered prayer, over the last almost 50 years.
Matthew 6 describes how we are to depend on God for not only the big stuff but the daily necessities of living (food, clothing, shelter). When we seek Him first instead of the stuff we need to live, He will provide all that we need to live a simple, abundant life.
For years I have done seminars on how to watch movies. I always have seen that Christians get very upset when you take away their secular entertainment. This is one of the major ways that secularism gets into her brain and controls Our Lives. It is very important that when you watch movies and TV you think. Or as the Bible puts it you set your mind on the things of the spirit not on the flesh.
SPIRITUAL ADULTERY
Spiritual adultery is unfaithfulness to God. It is having an undue fondness for the things of the world. Spiritually adultery is analogous to the unfaithfulness of one’s spouse: “‘But like a woman faithless to her lover, even so have you been faithless to me, O house of Israel,’ says the LORD” (Jeremiah 3:20; see also Isaiah 1:21; 57:8; Ezekiel 16:30).
Today, we read Gen. 1: 26 -28 as we continue to read about how God used His creativity, labor, and resources to create the heavens, the earth, and all that it contains. We see that on this very busy sixth day of creation, God made man in His own image.
In addition, God blessed them and told man to, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
1 Corinthians 15:49: "Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven."
Last week we talked about hunting and fishing after the 5th day of God creating the creatures of the sea and the birds of the air.
On the sixth day, God creates the cattle, creeping things, and beasts of the earth.
One critical point to understand is each catagory is "after its own kind" meaning cows produce cows, hummingbirds produce hummingbirds, and whales produce whales.
The birds of the air, the fish in the seas, and the cattle on the earth are all commanded to be fruitful and multiply after their own kind.
Values are defined by a finite individuals choice. Morality is not defined by a infinite individual choice. But, Morality is defined by an infinite beings choice
To have morality there must be someone who knows everything. This is what Jesus said He is the truth. He is saying that he knows everything and has come to tell us what is truly true truth. The Bible also states that he is the Light. I Am the Light of the World
12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying,
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”13 So the Pharisees said to him, “You are bearing witness about yourself; your testimony is not true.”14 ....“Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.16 Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father[a] who sent me.
“Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me.45The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me.46I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.
47“If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
What we're trying to do in this is show is show who God is and how he acts, and Who We Are and how we should act in relationship to him and his created design.
This is called biblical economics
The branch of knowledge and revelation concerned with the production, consumption, and transfer of resources is called economics.
Biblical Economics focuses on the behaviour and interactions of economic agents and how economies work.
On day five, God filled the seas with all manner of fish and sea monsters and the air with every kind of flying bird. He commanded them to be fruitful and multiply and fill the seas and the air.
It is because of His command to be fruitful and multiply that we are able to hunt and fish to this day. Again, we can see God's plan of economics being formed right from the beginning of creation.
Miss Lee has taken the whole month of November to emphasize thankfulness on her Facebook page I recommend that you look at the things she is thankful for. This is such a good idea. She gets up every morning and thinks of one thing to be thankful for that she post your friends on Facebook.
I see as her husband this makes a tremendous difference in her attitude during the day.
Thessalonians 5:18Amplified Bible (AMP)
18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be there and
continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus Dennis Prager does a great job of explaining how the laws of nature points clearly to this biblical principle of thankfulness.
God continues to tell us how He created the universe by creating the sun, moon, and stars. He lays out the foundations for work and rest by dividing the night from day. God is letting us have a small glimpse into His Power.
The debate about biological origins continues to be hotly contested within the Christian church. Prominent organizations such as Biologos (USA) and Faraday Institute (UK) insist that Christians must yield to an unassailable scientific consensus in favor of contemporary evolutionary theory and modify traditional biblical ideas about the creation of life accordingly. They promote a view known as “theistic evolution” or “evolutionary creation.” They argue that God used—albeit in an undetectable way—evolutionary mechanisms to produce all forms of life. This book contests this proposal. Featuring two dozen highly credentialed scientists, philosophers, and theologians from Europe and North America, this volume provides the most comprehensive critique of theistic evolution yet produced. It documents evidential, logical, and theological problems with theistic evolution, opening the door to scientific and theological alternatives—making the book essential reading for understanding this worldview-shaping issue.
As we take a pause from "The Life of Christ In Stereo", we can see that not only was God creative in creating the heavens, the earth, and the seas, but He planned for the future creation of animals, fish, and mankind by first creating the vegetation and the trees so that we would have food for nourishment and growth.
The basis of economics is set forth from the beginning as the vegetation and trees are created with seeds already in them so that they can multiply!
This is why the Declaration of Independence places THE CREATOR AS so important and so unique social life, it recognizes that the Creator is the originator of Justice and happened and has given all individuals inalienable rights.
The Declaration names three of these rights, life liberty and the pursuit* of happiness.
The places this idea has gone has brought the greatest freedom, both physically and spiritually. As well as the greatest material abundance in world history.
*
By pursuing happiness as an act of the will not as a feeling we can change our world.
Mark 8:33(NASB)
33 But turning around and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter and *said, “Get behind Me, Satan; for you are not setting your mind on [a]God’s interests, but man’s.”
