One Way Christians Counter the Hate In A Civil Society

How Christians can counter the tension in our UNIQUE AMERICAN culture.

Christians are not helpless in this culture battle we have between the Constitutional government and the Communist Marxist left.
At a recent event we were part of the wonderful example of how we as Christians counter the divisiveness and the identity politics that keeps being portrayed by the left.
 

This is our friend Nordia who invited us to her church family's picnic.

We are next door neighbors and have become the best of friends as we share meals and watch TV together around our neighborhood.
Lee and I were so blessed as we attended her church party in Tampa Bay where we met the pastor and most of the people who attended. We had the most wonderful time even though we were white and they were mostly black but we all knew we had Oneness in Christ.

We are made up of two different substances; one substance is material (our bodies) and the other substance is Spirit (which is invisible but is the most important substance of all because it is the Holy Spirit which God has given to us to seal our souls in Him).
This was clearly evident as we sat and ate and enjoyed the parties and the festival. We experienced the joy of people meeting together of different races and different colors but knowing we were all one in the spirit.

CHRISTIAN FOOD AND FELLOWSHIP
This is a real answer to bring healing in a civil society.

Being together in body and spirit is the true answer to the color divisions in America.
The Great Awakening brought the American Revolution and freedom for many.
The Second Great Awakening was the foundation of setting black people free from being slaves by the 13th Amendment of the Constitution.

We were even able to use our dog Marli to communicate God's love with the children and the adults who were at the picnic.

I have always said that Jesus isn't left or right, He isn't a conservative nor a liberal, He isn't a Democrat or a Republican. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords and He did not come to take sides but to take over.
It is important that the Christians of all colors let Christ use their lives to love one another and heal our land. 

We need to stand our ground and love as we love one another.

We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
And we pray that our unity will one day be restored
And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yeah they'll know we are Christians by our love

We will work with each other, we will work side by side
We will work with each other, we will work side by side
And we'll guard each man's dignity and save each man's pride
And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yeah, they'll know we are Christians by our love.
