Like all drugs, socialism feels good at first but destroys in the end.  The government runs out of money they have stolen from those who produce it to give to individuals in the general population for free.  So for the poor who are promised free money and benefits,  the real price is slavery to the government.

The greed of these people to get something for nothing (FREE) traps poor individuals and makes them slaves to POLITICAL PARTIES or GOVERNMENTS, or both. Thus both those who work to earn money and those who receive free benefits lose their ability to be FREE INDIVIDUALS.

appropriate legislation. 

This is one of the shortest of all the Constitutional Amendments passed after the Civil War which was the most costly war in American history even up to the current day. The Civil War cost 700,000 American's lives.  
The 13th Amendment is also one of the most abused, misused, and ignored amendments ever enacted. 
Slavery is much more than race servitude. It is the state of being completely submissive to and controlled by someone more powerful.  Involuntary servitude is much more than slavery based on race which we had before the Civil War.

It is important to understand that slavery has nothing to do with race but with individual liberty and with voluntary and involuntary servitude.

Because secularism denies certain parts of reality, it has no ability to see things that it deems "religious" as political or real or having anything to do with the material world. Therefore, it's sees Islam as a religion not a political philosophy of reality.
Secularism also does the same thing with Christianity. Therefore, because it places Christianity in the box of religion, it can no longer see it as a political theory that has anything to do with the material world.
As a result, it excludes Christianity from the thinking of the founding of America.  The Americans who founded this country (with their  Bible in one hand and an axe in the other) did not think this way and it now makes us vulnerable to attacks by Islam and by secularists like communism and fascism.
Biblical Christianity is a political and economic philosophy in and of itself and is the basis of all of our first ten amendments to the Constitution.
But because SECULARISTS have banned or separated the thinking of the Ten Commandments and The Sermon on the Mount,  those of us who believe as the founders of America believed, have been banned or separated from America and been led to believe that we can no longer think or act as a true Americans. This is the great divide in American culture.
Our enemies, like Islam, communism, and Fascism are secular. Unfortunately, most people see these as the only options for America.
This is a very serious blind spot! And because it doesn't see certain parts of reality (the invisible parts of man, HIS SOUL, and the basis of Americans' moral character), it has no ability to see things that it declares as religious and political as real.
Therefore, secularism sees Islam as a religion and not a political philosophy. It also does the same thing with Christianity because it places Christianity in the box of religion only.  Secularists can no longer see these belief systems as political theory. Therefore, they exclude Christianity from the thinking of the founding of America. This way of thinking makes will continue to make us prone to attacks by Islam, Fascism, and Communism.

One Way Christians Counter the Hate In A Civil Society

How Christians can counter the tension in our UNIQUE AMERICAN culture.

Christians are not helpless in this culture battle we have between the Constitutional government and the Communist Marxist left.
At a recent event we were part of the wonderful example of how we as Christians counter the divisiveness and the identity politics that keeps being portrayed by the left.
 

This is our friend Nordia who invited us to her church family's picnic.

We are next door neighbors and have become the best of friends as we share meals and watch TV together around our neighborhood.
Lee and I were so blessed as we attended her church party in Tampa Bay where we met the pastor and most of the people who attended. We had the most wonderful time even though we were white and they were mostly black but we all knew we had Oneness in Christ.

We are made up of two different substances; one substance is material (our bodies) and the other substance is Spirit (which is invisible but is the most important substance of all because it is the Holy Spirit which God has given to us to seal our souls in Him).
This was clearly evident as we sat and ate and enjoyed the parties and the festival. We experienced the joy of people meeting together of different races and different colors but knowing we were all one in the spirit.

CHRISTIAN FOOD AND FELLOWSHIP
This is a real answer to bring healing in a civil society.

Being together in body and spirit is the true answer to the color divisions in America.
The Great Awakening brought the American Revolution and freedom for many.
The Second Great Awakening was the foundation of setting black people free from being slaves by the 13th Amendment of the Constitution.

We were even able to use our dog Marli to communicate God's love with the children and the adults who were at the picnic.

I have always said that Jesus isn't left or right, He isn't a conservative nor a liberal, He isn't a Democrat or a Republican. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords and He did not come to take sides but to take over.
It is important that the Christians of all colors let Christ use their lives to love one another and heal our land. 

We need to stand our ground and love as we love one another.

We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
And we pray that our unity will one day be restored
And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
